Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and University Information Technology. TUSM is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Tufts University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 4.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit
(s)  Each physician should only claim credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

To receive CE credit, participants must sign-in, attend the entire program and complete a program evaluation.  Certificates will be mailed at the end of the academic year.

 Program Goal

This program will enable clinician instructors to explore effective strategies and methods for engaged learning.

Educational Objectives

As a result of attending this program, participants will be able to:

1)  Discuss principles of engaged learning relevant to clinical teaching

2)  Define effective teaching strategies that foster engaged learning

3)   Identify tools available at Tufts that support engaged learning

There is no fee for this program.
