The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) will hold its Annual Eastern Region Student Conference from October 2 - 5, 2008 in Norfolk, Virginia. NABA's Eastern Region is the largest in the association and has over 3000 student and professional members and spans from Boston to Richmond and as far west as Pittsburgh, PA. Within the Region there are 10 professional chapters and 46 student chapters, where our members are serviced on a local level. The conference will include two and one-half days of workshops, seminars and interview sessions, all designed to better prepare minority students for careers in accounting and financial management disciplines.
