PHOENIX IN FEBRUARY
The 36th Annual Phoenix Surgical Symposium will be held during one of the most delightful months in Phoenix, Arizona. The mild February weather is perfect to enjoy the many outdoor activities including championship golf, tennis, hiking and swimming.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The symposium is a four-day postgraduate course designed to present a review of current knowledge. Each day’s session begins with a continental breakfast followed by a series of presentations by a nationally recognized faculty. There will be opportunities for informal interaction with the faculty during the breaks and lunches.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
After completing this program, the participant will be able to:
1. Explore incentives and impediments in practice change for surgeons
2. Understand the role of ultrasound in the evaluation of thyroid nodules
3. Identify the current status of image guided diagnosis and treatment of breast patients
4. Cite best treatments of liver and portal triade injuries
5. Summarize the management of Barrett’s Esophagus and Early Esophageal Cancer
