14th Annual Housing and Homelessness Advocacy Day Thursday, February 14, 2007 ~ Registration begins at 8:30 am United Churches of Olympia ~ 110 Eleventh Avenue SE ~ Olympia, WA 98501
SPECIAL GUEST
Governor Christine Gregoire!
2008 is a different year for affordable housing, and February 14 will be a different kind of advocacy day!
Imagine this: marching together to the Capitol. Filling the Capitol Rotunda with a sea of housing and homelessness advocates. Taking part in a show-of-force for housing like Olympia's never seen.
This is Housing & Homelessness Advocacy Day 2008.
Because of where HHAD falls on this year's legislative calendar, we'll be "pulling" our legislators off of the House and Senate floor to meet with them, instead of arranging meetings in their offices. This means Housing & Homelessness Advocacy Day 2008 will be informal, exciting, and offer new challenges and new opportunities for success.
While it's a little different from what our dedicated advocates have come to expect, we think this is an exciting opportunity to show that we truly have a mass movement for affordable housing in Washington State.
So register here, and check your email inbox for updates on what this year's advocacy day is all about.
Thanks for registering! We look forward to seeing you on the day.
