The Transportation Challenge: Moving the U.S. Economy
A Briefing

Sponsored by:

The National Chamber Foundation
of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

The U.S. economy is fighting to stay atop the global marketplace, but businesses require a key component to stay competitive: a modern and well-maintained transportation system that moves people and goods quickly, reliably, and cost effectively.  The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Americans for Transportation Mobility Coalition, will rise to meet this "Transportation Challenge."

At this briefing, Janet Kavinoky, Director, Transportation and Infrastructure, U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Executive Director, Americans for Transportation Mobility, and Gary Maring, Cambridge Systematics, will discuss findings from a recent study examining the relationships between transportation investment and long-term economic productivity, growth and competitiveness.

Registration and a complimentary breakfast will begin at 9:30 a.m.  The program will follow from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A press Q&A will immediately follow.
