WHAT IS MERKAZ IVRIT?
Merkaz Ivrit is an established institute for teaching Modern Hebrew in a structured and systematic way. The Ulpan is designed to help students advance their conversational, reading and writing skills in Hebrew. We offer a multi-level program for various stages of proficiency.
AN INNOVATIVE PROGRAM
• Instructors are highly-qualified native speakers with pedagogic training

• Israeli newspapers, videos, music, and literature are utilized to integrate Israeli cultural topics into Hebrew language learning

A $200 subsidy is available from the Charles and M.R. Shapiro Foundation for 70 part/full time Jewish community professionals to enroll in the Yearly Ulpan Courses. Please note: This subsidy is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is only for part/full time Jewish educators, or full time professionals who work in a Jewish agency.
Tuition payments are due upon registration.

Refunds: The CFJE does not issue refunds for classes missed due to illness, vacations or other circumstances beyond our control. The refund policy is as follows:
- Non-refundable $50 application fee
- To receive a full refund minus the $50 application fee, a written request (letter, fax or e-mail addressed to Ulpan Center) and a new textbook must be received by the end of the second class.
- To receive 50% refund, a written request and new textbook must be received by the end of the third class.
- No refunds wil be given after the third week of class.
