Make your voices heard! Please join MEA Members and MEA Staff from across the state for a day of lobbying. Our day begins with a continental breakfast and briefing at the MEA Augusta office. From there we will travel to the State House to lobby Legislators on the Cliff Correction Issue (LD 1693) as well as School Consolidation. After a break for lunch, we will be attending hearings or work sessions in the Education, Appropriations, and Labor Committees.
MEA will reimburse members for mileage, lunch, and will also reimburse schools for substitutes' pay.
