Music and Liturgical Arts Week at Lake Junaluska is presented by the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music and Worship Arts. It is designed for clergy, musicians, worship leaders, handbell ringers, adults, youth, children and those involved in the arts and the church. Lake Junaluska is a beautiful conference center located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. Come join us for a week of fellowship, learning, worship and spiritual renewal.

Two choices for Older Elementary* participants!
Participate in the premiere performance of Table of Five (Thousand)
by Allen Pote and Tom Long during
Thursday morning's worship service in Stuart Auditorium. Costume requirements are
khaki shorts and tennis shoes with short white tennis socks. A shirt will be provided.
Attendance for ALL rehearsals, afternoon sessions and
Wednesday evening dress rehearsal is MANDATORY!
OR
Experience musical cultures through the excitement of rhythm,
movement and melody...all in praise of God.
Afternoon activities to include dance, drama, craft,
sign language, movement and chimes.
Thursday afternoon presentation in Shackford Auditorium.

Tom Long of Friends of The Groom will teach drama rehearsals for youth or adults.

*Older Elementary participants are those having completed 3rd through 5th grades. Those having completed 6th grade may choose to partipate in either of the Older Elementary options or to sing in the the Middle High choir.

Please note:
Full payment is not due at the time of registration. A $20 non-refundable payment (per registrant) will hold your place until March 1, 2009. If full payment has not been received by March 1, 2009, you will lose your place. Should space still be available, payment will be accepted after March 1, 2009. If the program for which you have registered has reached capacity, you will be given the option of moving to another age-appropriate program at Music and Liturgical Arts Week.
