The purpose of this workshop is to provide those interested in implementing a certified University-Model School® (UMS) with the knowledge, direction, and practical tools needed to establish a quality educational entity.
Prior to attending the workshop, founders of a new UMS should complete the implementation steps for the first six months of planning as described in the Preliminary School Organization Notebook. During the New School Workshop, the implementation steps for months seven (7) through eighteen (18), from the point of having a functioning school board to opening day, will be explained.
The New School Development Notebook is required for this workshop and can be purchased prior to the workshop or at the time of registration. Each participating group must have a minimum of one of each of these notebooks in order to attend the workshop.
The major goal of the workshop is to equip participants with a clear understanding of the implementation and operation of an academically strong UMS, including the vital role of the parent. Networking with other individuals involved in UMS education is an additional benefit.

The conference agenda includes Praise and Worship, keynote speakers, meals, an evening banquet, breakout sessions, and round table forums.
To benefit the most from the conference, it is recommended that schools send as many participants as possible. Armed with information and excitement, these participants can return to their schools to share what they have learned with others.
