Law Librarians bring a host of required competencies that are essential for success in the law library. Even with brilliant skills and fabulous results, outdated perceptions and expectations can interfere with contributions to the institution. Please join Dr. Laura Morgan Roberts, organizational consultant and Professor of Psychology, Culture and Organization Studies at Antioch University as we take a look at image management, credibility, and influence. We will discuss management tactics, techniques to move from the side-line to the center and owning your professional identity.

Speaker:
Dr. Laura Morgan Roberts is an author, professor, researcher and organizational consultant. She is the Professor of Psychology, Culture and Organization Studies in Antioch University’s Ph.D. Program in Leadership and Change. Dr. Roberts has served on the faculties of several of the world's top-ranked business schools, including Harvard and Wharton.
Dr. Roberts' extensive scholarship, tools, and workshops help accomplished and emerging leaders to discover and enact their best selves. A thought leader in the areas of authenticity, identity, diversity, strengths, and personal and professional alignment, Dr. Roberts has published an edited book, Exploring Positive Identities and Organizations, and dozens of top-ranked articles, book chapters, and case studies.
Dr. Roberts earned a BA in Psychology with highest distinction and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia. She received her MA and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan. She lives near Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and business partner, Rev. Darryl D.
