Registration for the 2012 Pediatric Flexible Bronchoscopy Course in Cincinnati, September 11-14, is now closed. There is another session of the same course, with identical content, in Madrid, Spain, November 13-16, 2012. While we will maintain a waiting list in case of cancellations by physicians currently registered for the course, it has been my experience that we rarely have more than one cancellation to free up another position. Therefore, I recommend that those interested in the course for this year consider the Madrid venue. The difference in airfare is surprisingly small. The 2013 course will be held only in Cincinnati (September 10-13).

Pediatric Flexible Bronchoscopy Course – Madrid, Spain – November 13-16, 2012

  This course is an intensive, 4-day, hands-on, comprehensive introduction to pediatric bronchoscopy and bronchology. The course includes lectures, demonstrations, hands-on experience in animate models with a high ratio of instructor to students, video labs reviewing representative airway abnormalities. The course is designed for physicians with no prior experience in bronchoscopy, but is also quite useful for those with prior experience. Registration is limited to 42 physicians; endoscopy assistants may also attend the lectures and laboratories but are not given hands-on experience performing bronchoscopy.  This course is now in its 32^nd year, although the Madrid venue is relatively new.
