The 13th Annual Northern California Global Health Conference, "Global Health: Breaking Borders and Boundaries" is just around the corner. Space is limited so secure your registration right away!
The conference features a plenary session with speakers and panelists addressing two salient global health issues: Migration Health and One Health. Roberto Tapia-Conyer, MD, MPH, PhD and Jonna Mazet, DVM, MPVM, PhD are the featured keynote presenters. Experts will join Drs. Tapia-Conyer and Mazet for separate panel discussions on each of the aforementioned topics. The plenary will be followed by a networking lunch where students will have the opportunity to liaise with local NGOs and representatives from school programs in the area. Selected students will also have this time to showcase their research with a poster exhibition. The conference will conclude with two consecutive 75-minute workshop time-slots. You will have the chance to select TWO workshops in which you would like to participate after entering your personal details in this registration process. The workshops include topics ranging from Child Trafficking to Disaster Medicine to Impacts of Emerging Vector-Borne Diseases to Health Technology to Risks Associated with Individual and Environmental Health to Water Safety to Interdisciplinary Collaborations in Addressing Issues to Ethics to Maternal Health to Climate Change...and more.
