Base registration fee is $495
The base registration fee covers all sessions not marked "Premium". Your registration fee covers your entry fee into the seminars but does not include transportation of any kind, meals, or lodging. Any special food & beverage set-ups that GSS elects to provide during the conference with the exception of cash bars will be covered in your base registration fee.
DISCOUNT SAVINGS ON YOUR REGISTRATION?
GSS has a new subscription based web site at www.gssalliance.com that costs $49 per year. If you join the web site before you complete your registration to the symposium you can then select "GSS Alliance Member" as your registration type and receive a 10% discount on your symposium registration, essentially giving you your first year of membership to the new web site for free.
NEW 2012 FORMAT
2012 brings a new format to the symposium where we will be offering only one class per time slot. Our time is limited to 3 days and we have a lot of material to cover. This format allows us to offer a greater variety of topics during the time we have.
You'll notice on the registration form that we have a few "Hands-On" sessions scheduled in the evening after dinner. For instance, the Aesthetics of Stringing class on Sunday morning also has a hands-on session scheduled for that same evening. Since the class sessions will focus primarily on Power Point/Keynote presentations we wanted to set aside more time for those particular classes to have additional time for hands-on work. Of course, these evening sessions are optional so feel free to pick your schedule accordingly.
Scroll through the registration form and select the classes you wish to attend. You can click on the "Details" link to get more detailed information on what to expect from a class. If you see a class that, for whatever reason, you prefer not to attend, we encourage you to use that time in the open stringing room. All seminar leaders who are not presenting material are asked to make themselves available there to work with you and answer any questions you may have.
ERSA Pro Tour Stringer Test
This ERSA test will be administered by Richard Parnell. You will not find this on the agenda page where you select your classes since it was added after registration was opened. If you have an interest in taking this exam please contact Richard at richardparnell@telefonica.net for details
SPACE IS LIMITED
There is limited space/seating for some seminars. In 2012 this applies primarily to our "Premium" seminars that have very low student to teacher ratios such as the Pro Tour Simulation room and the 4 hour customization class on Wednesday. We are respectfully requesting that attendees do not sign up for any one of the premium sessions more than one time to allow space for others to attend too.
If you are a previous attendee and your email address has not changed since your last registration you can enter your email address below and the system will recognize you, saving you time because your personal information will already be populated. Please check your personal information and make any necessary changes and updates before proceeding to the next page.
This is a private event open to members of the public, who, upon completion of this registration process, are granted revocable permission to attend. Completion of your registration and confirmation receipt of said registration is not a guarantee of admittance to this event. Upon review of your completed registration form, GSS reserves the right to cancel your registration and refund any and all monies collected through the registration process.
