Each summer, the California Teachers Association hosts two specialized conferences, the Presidents Conference and Summer Institute. Each conference is designed to provide knowledge and skills for members as they go about the work of the organization as local leaders.
This year, each of the summer conferences will be transformed and become vehicles for Campaign 2012 education, training and coordination. The conferences will provide the core training members need as they fulfill leadership roles in the organization, however, there will be a special and continued emphasis on campaign readiness and preparation that will be integrated in all areas of the various electives, strands and tracks during the summer conferences.
CTA is known for its excellent training programs and we hope that you will join your fellow CTA members for these exciting, informative and outstanding learning and leadership development opportunities.
The CTA Board of Directors has reviewed the programs for Presidents Conference and Summer Institute and made the decision to shorten the length of each conference by one day for the next two years as a pilot program. The decision was made to save your dues dollars by trimming training expenses and reducing your registration fees. Changes will be made to the daily programs that will allow the trainers to still deliver key core training. Be prepared for a very intense and energizing training experience as only CTA can offer. We are very excited by this opportunity and look forward to your continued support. As always, we will ask attendees to evaluate the new programs and will welcome your comments and suggestions via the online evaluation after each conference.

If you are registering more than one person, please make sure you have all the required information before you begin.

• Individual Email Addresses — CTA communicates with the individual members during the summer and must have an alternate email address that may be used during this time. If you have access to your personal school or chapter email address during the summer, this may be used.
• Individual Home Addresses — Some of the strand leaders send out important mailings during the summer.
