RegOnline was founded in Boulder, Colorado over ten years ago to meet the needs of small to medium sized event planners that required a quick, easy and affordable event management solution.
Over those ten years, RegOnline has grown steadily to become a complete event management and registration solution that serves customers of all types and sizes, and has supported more than 200,000 events.
The RegOnline team has also expanded globally with office locations now spanning five continents and including London, Sydney and Chengdu in China.

RegOnline was acquired by the ACTIVE Network and forms part of its Business Solutions group- a suite of event management software products that caters for meetings and events of all types and sizes. JR ShermanJR Sherman is a Senior Vice President at Active Network and the Senior General Manager of the Business Solutions Division, overseeing its global strategy and operations. In this role, JR has pioneered the division's approach to Integrated Engagement Management, Event Efficiency and Marketing Intelligence and has established Active Network as the leader in corporate event and engagement technology. JR brings 18 years of experience building B-to-B software and services for the Marketing industry. As the founder and CEO of Channel:1 Corporation and a founder and CEO of Right Source, JR has created and established some of the IT industry’s most innovative and fastest growing sales and marketing businesses. JR holds multiple degrees from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
Anthony MillerAnthony Miller is the Vice President of Strategy for Active Network | Business Solutions division, working closely with enterprise clients to drive results through expanded reach, extended lifecycle and increased attendance at events. Miller has spent much of his career working with marketing, sales and event teams to deliver strategic digital and live campaigns for clients such as Salesforce, HP, Cisco, Deloitte and the Saudi Arabian Government.
Doug BairdDoug Baird is a Senior General Manager for Active Network | Business Solutions, managing technology and operations. As such, Baird oversees strategic account management and product execution for Active Network’s global corporate customers.
Prior to joining Active Network, Doug was a founding partner and Chief Operating Officer of WingateWeb a global leader in event management software. Under Doug’s leadership, WingateWeb established itself as the most trusted and reliable name in event technology, servicing conferences for the world’s largest and most well-known global technology corporations. In his spare time, Doug can be found hiking and camping with the boy scouts in the mountains and deserts of Utah, where he serves as Scout Master.
Doug holds an MBA from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
Kevin O'RourkeKevin O'Rourke is Vice President of Sales for Active Network | Business Solutions, overseeing sales, pre-sales and channels. In this role, Kevin is aggressively driving global sales strategy and expansion into new markets.
Prior to joining Active Network, Kevin spent 10 years at EMC where he held several sales executive roles in positions of increasing responsibility; most recently leading U.S. Commercial Greenplum database sales. Kevin also spent five years as an Area Vice President based in Irvine, CA and a District Manager in New York City. Kevin started his sales career over 15 years ago with JDS Uniphase.
He also spent five years in the US Army as a field artillery officer serving in assignments in the United States as well as overseas. Kevin is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and holds a Bachelors of Science degree.

Betty McNultyWith over two decades of experience in the meeting and event planning industry, Betty McNulty joined ACTIVE Network | StarCite in January 1999 as Vice President of Operations. Later, she assumed responsibility for corporate products and services and was promoted to her new position in January, 2005. She is currently responsible for customer relations, major account management, customer services, product fulfillment, strategic sourcing strategies, and all professional services for ACTIVE Network | StarCite clients. Previously Betty spent 13 years as a member of the senior management team at McGettigan Partners, Philadelphia, focusing on the strategic development of the leading meeting and incentive management company. During her tenure there, the company grew to over $250 million in annual sales and more than 375 employees in 16 states. Betty was Vice President of Sales and Operations for McGettigan's Eastern customer business unit.
David O'DonohoeWith 20 years experience in the Hospitality and Meetings Industry, David leads the Global Supplier Marketplace. He is responsible for the continued growth of a greatly expanded global meetings marketplace that links buyers with more than 60,000 hotel properties and meetings suppliers in every key market around the world. He has been with ACTIVE Network | StarCite for six years and initially headed up Supplier Sales and Strategic Alliances. Prior to ACTIVE Network | StarCite, David was with the Regus Group as Director of Sales, The Americas, for meeting room and videoconferencing products. During his tenure there, meeting room revenue grew three-fold in North America over a two year period. Before coming to Regus he was Director of Group Sales with Millennium Hotels and Resorts for the North American Global Sales Offices. David held several sales and marketing positions with Sheraton, Westin and St. Regis brands for Starwood Hotels and Resorts and with Omni Hotels. He began his sales career as an Account Executive with Dean Witter Reynolds in New York. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Kevin IwamotoAs Vice President, Enterprise Strategy, Kevin Iwamoto guides ACTIVE Network, Business Solutions’ overall strategy for engaging with buyers and suppliers. Prior to joining ACTIVE Network | StarCite, Iwamoto was a key manager in the Hewlett-Packard Global Travel & Meetings Team, serving as Global Corporate Card, Hotels & Meetings Category Manager. Kevin Iwamoto is a former President & CEO of the Board of Directors for the National Business Travel Association (NBTA) and has been honored with major business travel industry accolades, including most recently, the NBTA’s Industry Icon Award and in 2008, one of Business Travel News’ Best Meeting Practitioners and MeetingNews top 25 Most Influential Executives. Prior to Hewlett-Packard, Mr. Iwamoto served as a Senior Travel Account Manager with The Walt Disney Company and as a Corporate Sales Manager with Northwest Airlines. Mr. Iwamoto holds a bachelor's of science degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii, Honolulu and a Global Leadership Professional (GLP) Masters designation from the Wharton School of Business.
Linda McNairyAs Vice President Strategic Partner Management for ACTIVE Network | StarCite, Linda manages the channel distribution of StarCite technology through top global card, travel management, meetings management and auxiliary distribution channel partners. Linda led the global deployment of the first industry payment card integration and was responsible for product, marketing, sales and implementation. Prior to this, Linda was Vice President, Global Account Management and before that, was Regional Vice President of Sales. Previous roles outside of ACTIVE Network | StarCite include positions at SGI, Inc, where Linda served as Account Executive and then Director of Client Services. Before joining SGI, Linda held a series of roles at Navigant Meeting Services, beginning as an account manager and working her way up to Regional Vice President.
Linda graduated from the Indiana University Indianapolis. She is former Chair of the GBTA Groups and Meetings Committee, and current member of the Strategic Meetings Management Certification Task Force. Linda also spearheaded the development of the SMM Maturity Model along with the GBTA Foundation.
