Tryout Camp date moved to Sunday, December 14. Due to forcasted cold daytime temperatures on Saturday, we have moved the Braves Tryout/Camp to Sunday, December 14 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Prince George High School.

The Richmond Braves National baseball teams are holding open tryouts on December 14, 2008 at Prince George High School and you're invited!

Our one day tryout/camp is your chance to get an up close and personal view of elite level amateur baseball. If you dream of playing in college or the pros don't miss this opportunity to join one of America's top ranked College Development Programs. You'll be given every opportunity to show us you have the right stuff to play for our nationally acclaimed program. You'll showcase your speed, arm strength and hitting ability in front of the Richmond Braves National coaches and D1Draftable Baseball staff.  You'll also be introduced to the specific skills required to become a bona fide D1/Draftable prospect. Plus, you'll get a chance to rub shoulders with many of the college bound stars of the Richmond Braves National teams as you go through Sparq agility testing and the professional style baseball workout.  Don't miss this opportunity to turn your baseball dreams into reality by playing for the Braves in 2009. You were right! I remember you made a comment last fall about how pro scouts and D-1 college coaches would notice the kids that were wearing the Richmond Braves National uniform.  Well, several weeks ago my son attended a hitting camp conducted by the Coastal Carolina coaching staff.  So I had my son wear his Richmond Braves jersey to the camp.  He was not there ten minutes before the head of recruiting singled him out and chatted for about 10 minutes, all because he recognized the Braves jersey.

Openings are available for all Braves National and Scout teams in the 13U through 18U age divisions (13U/2014 Grads, 14U/2013 Grads, 15U/2012 Grads, 16U/2011 Grads, 17U/2010 Grads, 18U/2009 Grads). Click on "FAQ's/Contacts" tab at top of this page for more information on selecting your age/grad year for registration.

If you have the talent and burning desire to become a top baseball prospect and play college or professional baseball someday, you belong in a Braves uniform.

Registration

Registration is quick and easy. Click on the Register Now button in the top right corner of this page. Enter your e-mail address and select your age division/graduation year.

Tryout/Camp Registration Fee:
Regular Registration (December 8-12): $40
Late Registration (Walk Up registration on day of event): $50
                                                             

All prospective players must register online and pay by credit card (M/C or Visa).

Participants should wear baseball pants/hat and bring cleats and turfs/running shoes. Catchers should bring their own equipment. All players should be properly equipped.


D1Draftable Baseball powers the Richmond Braves National Baseball program.


How do you rate? All registrants will be SPARQ tested by Velocity Sports Performance.

The Richmond Braves National Baseball Club operates national championship caliber teams in the 13U through 18U age divisions. Our mission is to identify and train players with D1/Draftable skills and to showcase them to college coaches and professional scouts at the nation's most prestigious national championships. Our teams have won dozens of state, regional and national championships including the coveted 2008 Perfect Game/WWBA 16U National Championship. We are one of only a handful of elite level travel baseball programs in the country to win multiple Perfect Game national titles. The Braves National program was recognized in 2008 as one of the top 10 College Development Programs (CDP) in North America. Over 50 Braves alumni play in top college baseball conferences like the SEC, ACC and PAC 10 and over a dozen have been drafted by Major League Baseball. The Richmond Braves National '08 Team pictured above won the 2005 Perfect Game/WWBA 15U National Championship and finished second in both the 2005 16U National Championship and the 2007 17U National Championship. The team reached the championship game in a total of seven different National and World Series events.  It featured six MLB draft picks, two Aflac High School All Americans, a USA Baseball National team member, the National High School Player of the Year, two Baseball America High School All Americans, ten Division 1 baseball scholarship winners and High School Players of Year in two states and the District of Columbia.

Richmond Braves National Teams are followed by the nation's top college baseball programs and former Braves play in top baseball conferences across the country.
