WHAT ARE CAREER OPPORTUNITY DAYS?

Career Opportunity Days are non-traditional career fairs held specifically for wounded, ill or injured service members; veterans; military spouses, and caregivers that are always free of charge. As an attendee of a Career Opportunity Day, you will have the chance to have a "mock" interview on the spot with hiring managers from dedicated companies. You will be able to learn all about the hiring organizations as well as practice your ability to demonstrate your skill sets and verbalize the value you will bring to the hiring organization.  This live interaction will be invaluable to you as you navigate the world of interviewing, and leave you with the confidence to be able to effectively express yourself in the interview setting.

These events have created many job opportunities for military service members and veterans like yourself. Attending a Career Opportunity Day means that your next career could be right in front of you!
