Educational Strategies Workshop 2012

Dear Chairs, Course Directors and Guests:

You are cordially invited to join your colleagues April 28-May 02 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the La Fonda on the Plaza Hotel for the biennial meeting of the 14^th Workshop, sponsored by the Association of Medical School Microbiology and Immunology Chairs (AMSMIC).  The meeting will focus on the content of teaching material and its relationship to the teaching process.  Current teaching formats, core knowledge objectives and successful strategies used for the instruction of medical microbiology and immunology are overriding features of the meeting, including updates from the AAMC. A special session on creating, writing and editing appropriate USMLE Board-style examination questions is contemplated and will underscore the meeting.  With an outstanding program, colleague camaraderie, and a hotel that exceeds the highest contemporary standards of  hospitality, what more could one ask for?
