CEF2012: Come and See

Each day will feature an outstanding keynote speaker/preacher. You will want to arrive on time and stay till the end in order to "Come and See," as well as hear, what they have to share.

Welcoming us on Friday night will be Bishop Hee-Soo Jung, episcopal leader for the Wisconsin Conference of The United Methodist Church. Bishop Jung has experience has a teacher having chaired the Department of Religion and Philosophy at Kangnam University and Seminary in South Korea. He has also been pastor to congregations in California, Texas and Wisconsin.

Wake up the next morning and join Rev. Andrew C. Thompson, Memphis Theological Seminary, as he preaches on "Our Daily Bread: The Means of Grace and the Christian Journey." That evening he will present on the topic "Picture Perfect: The Pattern of a Christian Life."

Sunday will be a day of Sabbath with Anne Jackson, author of Mad Church Disease: Overcoming the Burnout Epidemic and Permission to Speak Freely: Essays and Art on Fear, Confession and Grace.

Closing us out on Monday will be Pastor Olu Brown of Impact Church, a new church in the Atlanta's West End. Olu graduated in 1999, from Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas, with a degree in Elementary Education. In 2002, he earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Gammon Theological Seminary of the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta.
