Energy Workshop for K-12 Educators
The National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project and the Kentucky Department for Energy Development and Independence (DEDI) are pleased to announce the upcoming Energy Education Workshop in Frankfort, KY. Classroom teachers (K-12) will have a unique opportunity to learn about energy in a fun and exciting way!
Thanks to the Kentucky Department for Energy Development and Independence sponsorship, there is no cost to attend the workshop. Breakfast and lunch are included! Substitute reimbursement forms will be provided at the end of the workshop. Please note: substitute costs will be reimbursed directly to school districts. If your district has any questions, they should contact NEED at 1-800-875-5029.
The NEED Project’s mission is to promote an energy conscious and educated society. NEED is the nation’s leading provider of energy education programs and materials to schools. This program includes teacher-tested educational materials, evaluation techniques and tools, recognition of student achievement, and professional development for educators.
