As chairman of the Southern Exposure 2013 Committee I would like all of our    members to join us in Orlando as we celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of Southern  Exposure.
                       
Some of you may recall that our first conference and expo was held at the Lakeland Civic Center and we had 95 exhibit spaces. At the time it was simply known as the Southeast Produce Council’s Retail/Foodservice Conference & Expo. The conference officially became Southern Exposure in 2006 when it was held in the Broward County Convention Center.

Southern Exposure 2013 will be held February 28-March 2 at the Caribe Royale Resort and Conference Center.

New this year begining at Southern Exposure  is the SPC's Shed the Pounds contest.
                       
Our opening day golf tournament will be held on Thursday February 28 at the Reunion Resort & Club. Register early to avoid the usual wait list. Note we have moved the golf tournament start time this year to 10:00 a.m. This will ensure that everyone will be able to return to the Caribe by 5:00-5:30 p.m.                   
     
The theme for Southern Exposure 2013 is “Back to the 80’s” and we have a great weekend planned that will definitely bring back those memories from the 1980’s.
 
Exhibitors can decorate their booth to this years theme for a chance to win the $1000.00 grand prize for the best decorated booth. Last year’s Gala Opening Party saw record attendance of over twelve-hundred. Be sure to get your tickets early as we do expect record attendance for 2013.        
           
Our Keynote speaker at the Saturday luncheon will be legendary Coach Lou Holtz. Coach Holtz is a great speaker so be sure to get your tickets for the luncheon. Seating is limited.            
           
All of the exhibit spaces (238) has been sold. We encourage all attendees to register for their name badges, purchase event tickets and make your room reservation as soon as possible. Registration will close on January 18, 2013.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all of our past retail and foodservice attendees. Your attendance and continued support has been without question a major factor in the success of Southern Exposure. Your registration fees will continue to be complimentary.
