HOW TO CREATE AN EFFECTIVE SCHOOL
IN LESS THAN TWO YEARS

Monday, June 24, 2013
7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

$185 (Lunch Included)

Learn from leaders and administrators as they share what they did, how they did it, and how they overcame the obstacles in their way.

Harry and Rosemary Wong will lead a day filled with ready-to-implement, practical plans to improve student achievement at very little cost.

Chelonnda Seroyer coached a principal and the staff of a chaotic, dangerous school in Detroit, and in one year, saw it become a safe, functioning, and nurturing learning community.

Rose Kerr, Principal at the Staten Island School of Civic Leadership or PS 861, will share how she created a new school that in two years became the #1 ranked school (out of 1,440) in New York City.

Karen Whitney, Principal, will show how in three years she reduced referrals from 500 to 14 and created the first public middle school on an Indian reservation to ever make AYP.

Carrie Copp, Housemaster, will explain how a school declared one of the worst performing schools became recognized as one of the best high schools by U.S.News & World Report.

Harry and Rosemary Wong will share examples of other exemplary schools. Every model shared will be a proven example of what works.

Every session is a general session. You can meet and interact with each speaker.

This IS an implementation conference. You will leave with plans on how to create an effective school with observable results. What will be shared simply WORKS!
