Course Description:
Maintain your OSHA emergency response certification and practical response skills in this 8-hour refresher course. Review the essentials of all-hazard awareness, detection, identification and response roles. Demonstrate and strengthen your practical competencies in using and caring for Personal Protective Equipment. Through practical activities, hone your skills to maintain competency in hazardous materials emergency response. This course addresses the annual refresher requirement of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (q)(8).  

Audience:
This course is designed for EMS, healthcare and public health personnel and is open to anyone serving Metro Boston Homeland Security Region of Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Quincy, Revere, Somerville, and Winthrop.

*This course has been approved by the Office of Domestic Preparedness, United States Department of Homeland Security under the title “WMD/Hazardous Materials Refresher.”
