The WIFLE Foundation, a not for profit organization working to promote the value that women bring to law enforcement, will hold its Eleventh Annual Leadership Training Conference June 22, 23, and 24, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta, GA. This year’s conference program will focus on leadership skills necessary for advancement into all ranks in government including the senior executive level as well as an examination of key investigative and security issues faced by federal law enforcement. 

 Registration: Full conference registration fees are $495.00 before April 30, 2010, and $550.00 after that date. Registration can be completed conveniently by clicking REGISTER NOW on this page.

Lodging: WIFLE has reserved an entire block of rooms for this conference and all attendees will be located in this hotel as well as the three day training sessions. The Government per diem rate of $119.00 will be honored by the hotel.

Pre-Conference Training: Special training sessions will take place on Monday, June 21 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, and again from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. “Terrorism and the Screening of Improvised Explosive Devices” will involve classroom and live range explosive demonstrations. Please allow your personnel interested in this training to travel on Sunday, June 20 to attend these sessions. The training conference officially opens on June 22, at 8:30 am and concludes on Thursday, June 24, at 5:00 pm. We have an exciting agenda for this leadership training and all details will be posted on the web site.

Recruitment Day: Recruitment Day is Tuesday, June 22, 2010 from 1 pm to 5 pm. WIFLE is partnering with the United States Marshals Service who is coordinating this recruitment fair. We look forward to your agency participating

Awards Banquet: Our Awards Banquet, a highlight of the leadership training conference, will be held on Wednesday, June 23 at 7:00 pm. The VIP reception, immediately preceding the banquet, is open for all agency heads, award winners and their families.

Conference Management: CTC Destination and Meeting Management, specializing in handling law enforcement conferences and training, is the official conference planner for WIFLE concerning this training conference. You may also use your agency or personal credit card to make payment in full for your conference fee, or you can submit a check. WIFLE cannot grant you access to the conference unless your fee is paid in full, or, your agency has authorized payment.
