2013 GLBT Conference

CTA's Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues Advisory Committee (GLBTIAC) is proud to present the fourth annual CTA conference addressing GLBT issues involving educators, students and community. This conference is open to all CTA members and will serve as a venue to discuss a variety of subjects affecting the entire membership and California's youth. Participants will have a variety of workshops to choose from that will address the needs of the CTA Membership, the Students and the Community.

Conference Highlights
Friday night begins with an opportunity for participants to network in a social environment.  On Saturday and Sunday we'll have many workshops for you to choose from as well as a keynote address by CTA President Dean E. Vogel and Dan Guerrero who stars in the critically acclaimed "Gaytino".  Click here for more details. 

Workshops of Interest – Saturday and Sunday
The Conference Planning Committee has arranged for three workshop time slots. In all, you will be able to choose from some 16 workshops.

Conference Fees
The conference registration fee includes all conference materials, reception on Friday evening, breakfast and luncheon on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday.

All expenses for accommodations are the responsibility of the individual, the chapter, the school district, the Service Center Council or the UniServ Unit.

Incentive Grants
The grant application deadline is November 4, 2012
