Overview

Physicians enter the field of medicine for many reasons, but it’s unlikely that many do so because they enjoy matters related to billing, coding, and documentation. However, it is absolutely essential that Ob-Gyns have a fundamental understanding of the process in order to build and operate a successful practice.

This engaging course presents the most important elements of OB/GYN billing and coding and combines that information with vital tips that ensure the medical record documentation supports the service billed to third party payers. Attendees will learn best practices in documentation for office based services and appropriate modifier usage to maximize reimbursements, as well as examine OB/GYN coding cases, review CPT changes for 2013, and learn what should be done NOW to prepare for ICD-10. The course concludes with a bonus Q&A session where attendees can ask program presenter Brad Hart, MBA, MS, CMPE, CPC, COBGC, specific coding questions.

Be sure to register early. Courses SOLD OUT last year!
