SESSION OVERVIEW

This
workshop will focus on approaches to emergency planning, including emergency
operations and business continuity planning, and the development of risk
assessment strategies to assure that plans address the most likely threats to
the organization and the individual. The workshop will include attention to
analytical risk management techniques, mapping and crisis communications, and
the disaster myths that can cause plans to fail. The session will end with a
short pandemic exercise.
