NAACCR CTR Exam Readiness Webinar

The NAACCR CTR Exam Readiness Webinar offers online interactive instruction with live instructors.  The course includes eight 2-hour sessions carefully prepared to reflect the changes to the 2009 CTR exam and a short follow-up post exam session.  

A subscription for the course is $400.  This includes “live” lectures presented by experienced instructors, Q&A sessions, study materials, take home tests and a timed practice test.  If a participant is unable to attend one of the live sessions, they may download the session and view it at their convenience (limit of 2 recordings per participant).

To be eligible to take the CTR exam, candidates must meet all the requirements (experience & education) of one of the five elgibility routes by the application deadline.  For full description of all five eligibility routes go to www.ctrexam.org.

Please note that eligibility routes 1 and 2 have changed for the 2009 exam!

Eligibility Route 1 will require a minimum of two years full-time (24 months or 3,900 hours) or equivalent experience in the Cancer Registry field and the equivalent of one year (12 credits hours) of college education that includes two semesters/three quarters of Human Anatomy and/or Physiology, one semester of Medical Science/Biology plus a college-level course in Medical Terminology. 

Eligibility Route 2 will require successful completion of an NCRA-approved Cancer Infor-mation Management Associate’s degree; OR successful completion of an NCRA-Accredited Formal Educa-tion Program AND successful completion of a minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent (four semesters/six quarters).
