Course description and objectives:

Prerequisite:
To step through labs during the session, participants MUST have an account set up at Amazon.com to use the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and the Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) as part of Amazon Web Services(TM). This setup may take a day or more to complete, so participants must complete the setup prior to the first day of the session. See aws.amazon.com for more information.

Daily schedule:
The session will run 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, with morning coffee starting at 8:30 AM.

Parking:
There is a parking entrance on Warren Street: turn onto Bradford from Arguello, and then turn left onto Warren and left into the parking lot. If you cannot get a space in that lot, use one of the metered spaces on the streets around the building for the first hour, and let your instructor know you were unable to park in the lot so that other arrangements can be made.

Building access:
Enter the building through the main entrance at the corner of Arguello and Bradford. Then, take the elevators to the second floor. Proceed right out of the elevators and knock on the secured door for access to the training room. Signs will indicate rPath Training is occurring in that area.

What is provided:
Each participant will be given a printed guide that includes the presentation and labs, and a 2 GB USB drive for use during the session. Both the printed guide and the USB drive are yours to keep when the session is complete. The instructor will also have pens and highlighters available if you need them.

Computers and software will be provided for use during the session, but cannot be removed from the room at any time. However, you will be able to save your work on the USB drive and take it with you as a resource for your appliance development work.

rPath will also provide morning coffee, a catered lunch, and drinks throughout the day.

Register for pre-paid seats:
