This is an opportunity for Valley View's Multidisciplinary Team to partner with our local physicians in the treatment of cancer patients. Our goal is to provide you with information on recent advancements to better support the quality of care to your patients. This will also be an opportunity to network with your peers; to know their approach to prevention and treatment. The conference format will consist of lectures and panel discussions.



Target Audience

All sessions are for medical practitioners (family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics/ gynecology, and surgery) and are designed to provide information and improve competence relative to recent advancements in prevention and treatment of cancer.

 


Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity the participant should be better able to:


1. Describe the best treatments for different stage of colorectal cancer.


2. Understand the difference in techniques used to identify melanoma and know when and how to use these techniques.

3. Recognize and determine when to use the cutting edge developments and ongoing areas of research aimed at the eradictation of breast cancer.

4.Understand when to approach lung cancer with minimally invasive thoracic surgery.
