Welcome to the 2009 Host Users Group Conference – HUGFLEET Academy, the final frontier in knowledge sharing for SMS|Host Users. Please join us November 1st through 5th for the 2009 Host Users Group Conference at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida.

2009’s HUG Conference will feature:
  • 32 User-led trainings and discussion sessions
  • 34 training sessions led by PAR Springer-Miller Systems
  • Keynote Address from Microsoft’s Hayan Ortega, Industry Market Development Manager, US Retail & Hospitality Industry
  • Multiple networking opportunities with other SMS|Host Users
  • Exhibitor area with over 20 vendors
Sessions are targeted towards Front Desk, Reservations, Revenue Managers, IT Professionals, Spa/Golf/Recreation Managers, Accounting, Housekeeping/Engineering, Casinos, GM’s/Owners and F&B Managers. There are 4 days of extensive learning for everyone. Attending the 2009 HUG Conference offers you a unique opportunity to master SMS|Host, increase your on-the-job effectiveness, add value to your employer and improve delivery of service to your guest and your company’s bottom line. It also provides you with the opportunity to preview new features and functionality and network with other users.



Registration Fees

Register early and save!  The early bird discount has been extended to October 1, 2009.  Take advantage of the early bird discount and save $70.

Full Conference Registration:

  • $350 if registered on or before September 15, 2009
  • $420 if registered after September 15, 2009
Day Rate Conference Registration:
  • $150 per day if registered on or before September 15, 2009
  • $175 per day if registered after September 15, 2009
Note: Early bird registrations must be completed by September 15, 2009 to qualify for the discounted rate.

Guest/Spouse Registration:
  • full conference: $295 per person
  • day rate: varies by day
Golf Tournament Registration:
  • $80 per player (does not include club rental)
Note: If you are planning on bringing a guest/spouse, please complete your own registration first (as a Full Conference or Day Rate), and then select add additional person to register you guest/spouse. If you need to split the payment, please review the partial/spit payment information below.

Online registration and payment by check will be accepted. Please read the policies and guidelines in the payment section of registration to ensure your online registration isn't subsequently cancelled.



Partial/Split Payment

Partial payment of registration fee(s) is not accepted. Full payment is due at time of registration. In some situations, however, you may need to split your payment between different credit cards or even between credit card and check. For example, an attendee's registration might be paid for by their company, but the attendee wants to bring a spouse/guest at his/her personal expense; or an attendee's company will not pay for their registration in the golf tournament. In these situations:
  1. Register and pay in full for the conference registration items that your company is paying for. Finalize the registration and pay in full. If you are paying by check, you will need to wait until the check is received and posted to your registration before you can proceed. If you are paying by credit card, you can proceed immediately.
  2. Return to the main registration page and log in as an existing registration. Make changes as desired (adding a spouse/guest or a golf registration), and then pay in full for the balance due using the desired payment type. Note the terms and conditions regarding payment by check.

Payment by Credit Card

You may pay online using Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Your transaction is processed in real time. The charge will appear on your credit card as "HOST USERS GROUP".



Payment by Check

You may register online and still pay by check under the following policies:
  1. Your check must be post-marked before September 16, 2009 in order to qualify for lower registration fees, where applicable. Checks post-marked on or after September 16, 2009 for less than the required registration fees may result in cancellation of your registration(s) and return of your check.
  2. If your check is not received within twenty-one calendar days of your online registration date or November 1, 2009, whichever occurs first, your registration(s) may be cancelled.
  3. Checks mailed before October 10, 2009 should be mailed to:

When paying by check, be sure to include copies of each registration confirmation being covered by the payment in order to ensure proper credit!



Refund policy

Conference registration fees (both full and day rate) may be cancelled any time prior to October 1, 2009 to receive a full refund. Cancellations and updates resulting in credit made on or after October 1, 2009 are ineligible for refund but may receive a credit toward next year's conference. All refunds will be issued by check within 30 days of the end of the conference, regardless of the original method of payment.

Guest/spouse registrations may be cancelled any time before October 23, 2009 to receive a refund of the guest/spouse registration fee paid. Any guest/spouse cancellations made on or after October 23, 2009 are ineligible for refunds or credit.

Golf tournament registrations are non refundable for cancellations made by the attendee. In the event the golf tournament is cancelled by HUG or the golf course, HUG will make every effort to fulfill your selected request for handling your refund.

Hotel Reservations

Hotel reservations at Hammock Beach are the responsibility of the individual. Your HUG Conference Registration does NOT include accomodations or transportation. To make reservations, please call 866-502-6228 and identify yourself as a participant in the Host Users Group (or HUG) conference to receive the group rate. The cutoff date to make your reservation is October 5, 2009. Requests received after this date will be accepted based on space and rate availability.
