The EcoLean Workshop has been developed just for collision shop owners and managers who are interested in leveraging the power of Lean Production as well as Eco-friendly business solutions. These courses have been built by some of the sharpest minds in the collision repair industry, and will afford the opportunity to relax in the company of industry peers, and learn from one another over a two-day period. A full breakfast and lunch will be provided each day with a group dinner scheduled for the first evening.

Who Should Attend

This class is designed for the top shop operators in the collision industry. It has been developed just for collision shop owners and managers who are interested in leveraging the power of Lean Production as well as Eco-friendly business solutions.


Course Objective

To Provide each participant with the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to improve their collision centers' quality, production output, and profitability.  This course will provide tangible tools to drive waste out of your business, both process waste and environmental waste.

October 1st -2nd, 2009  Hands-On Workshop Format 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. each day

Nestled lakeside in Celebration, Florida just minutes from WALT DISNEY WORLD®, Celebration Hotel offers a charming blend of Old Florida elegance and contemporary luxury. This upscale AAA Four-Diamond Orlando area hotel is located in the heart of Celebration near boutique shops, dining, and the entertainment options of Celebration Town Center.

These courses have been built by some of the sharpest minds in the collision repair industry, and will afford the opportunity to relax in the company of industry peers, and learn from one another over a two-day period.

  • Introduction to EcoLean - The principles of running a greener business.
  • Improving Workshop Efficiency - The history of Lean Production, and it's practical application in collision repair.
  • Principles of 5S - Methods of making your facility more efficient and consistent.
  • Building a Lean Culture - How to build a Lean culture from the ground up.

Cost  

The registration fee is $800 for one attendee, the fee is $700 per attendee when 2 or more people attend from the same organization.  Fees cover all classes, handouts and meals.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day with a group dinner scheduled for the first evening.  All travel expenses are the responsibility of the attendee.  We have secured a room block at the Celebration Hotel for $149 per night. All fees and travel cost are reimbursable with A-Plus Loyalty Reward Points.
