Overview
Join us for Be Empowered: "Building a Successful Future" mini conference! This event will help people with disabilities of all ages explore exciting new volunteer service opportunities that match their skills and abilities.
Attendees will leave with information on the benefits and expectations of being a volunteer. They will see how being active in the community and volunteering builds successful lives. Persons of working age (16 and older) with disabilities, educators, students, service providers, parents and guardians are all encouraged to attend this conference.
As a person with a disablity, you know you have talent, energy and enthusiasm to offer. This conference will help you find service opportunities that match your skills and abilities, apply for the volunteer position you want, and ask for what you need to reach your full potential in the organization.
Providers, parents and guardians are welcome to attend the conference. Each person should register separately to help with conference planning.
