2009 Midwest Anesthesia Residents Conference
Chicago, IL

2009 Midwest Anesthesia Residents Conference
April 17 - 19

The Midwest Anesthesia Resident Conference (MARC) is devoted to providing residents in the Midwestern area training programs (and some a little north of the border) with a platform to participate in the scholarly activity of presenting clinical and basic science research related to the medical specialty of anesthesiology. Residents, fellows, medical students and faculty of over 30 academic institutions convene over a weekend each spring to present scientific abstracts, including case reports, and attend educational panels in an atmosphere of professional collegiality.

This year RUSH University Medical Center’s Department of Anesthesiology is proud to host the MARC and excited to initiate a new format for the 2009 event that will include, oral presentations occurring on Saturday and exceptional panels and an educational workshop on Sunday. The meeting will also feature expanded exhibition space, a great night of dinner and entertainment on Saturday evening featuring the famous Second City performers, and a prominent keynote speaker at the Saturday luncheon.

On behalf of the Department of Anesthesiology at RUSH University Medical Center, we look forward to seeing you in Chicago and to another outstanding MARC.
