This institute is designed to cover both financial and grants management topics for AmeriCorps State, National Program, and Tribal Grantees, sub-grantees, and State Commission staff. Both programmatic and fiscal staff are encouraged to attend because both play an integral role in fiscal and grants management.
The institute will include general financial management topics such as financial reporting, fiscal monitoring, budgeting, as well as specific sessions for AmeriCorps Parent Organizations, programs and State Commissions. We will also explore the impact of the Serve America Act on fiscal and programmatic management. In addition, there will be opportunities for attendees to network with and learn from one another. This year’s institute has been carefully designed to meet the needs of both new and experienced staff, with the ultimate goal of helping both programmatic and fiscal staff set the foundation for fiscal and programmatic compliance and success so that the real work of AmeriCorps programs can be the primary focus.
