Transportation Directions/Options to DoubleTree

The UCLA Complete Streets Initiative encourages you to arrive at our conference via transit, bicycle, walking and carpooling. Bike parking will be managed at the conference registration desk.

Public Transportation:

Metro Red Line/Purple Line: Exit Civic Center Station. Leave through the 1st St. station exit. Walk east on 1st St. to Los Angeles St. Head South (Right) on Los Angeles for 1 block. A 10 – 15 minute walk, approximately.

Gold Line- Exit Little Tokyo Station. Walk west on 1st St to Los Angeles St. Head South (left) on Los Angeles for 1 block. A 10 – 15 minute walk, approximately.

The area is also served by a variety of Metro Buses. For schedules, please visit www.metro.net for transit trip planning. Santa Monica Rapid 10: Exit Los Angeles/Temple Street.

Downtown DASH shuttle services operated by LADOT Shuttle stops are just around the corner from the hotel (Route A on weekdays).

Parking:

Valet: $12 at hotel

Self-Parking: $8 at hotel

Public parking lots: Joe’s, located across the street from the DoubleTree, $5-$10

Directions from various freeways:

Surface Streets: Exit 4th Street, turn right. Proceed approximately 6 blocks to Los Angeles Street and turn left.Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens is 2 blocks on the right at corner of Los Angeles and Second St.

Highway 101: Take 101 Freeway to Los Angeles Street exit. Turn right on Los Angeles Street. Kyoto Grand Hoteland Gardens is approximately 3 blocks on the left at corner of Los Angeles Street and Second Street.

Interstate I-10: Take I-10 East to Los Angeles Street exit. Proceed North on I-110 and follow LAX directions as listed above.

Interstate: I-10 West to merger with 101 Freeway North. Exit Los Angeles Street, turn left. Kyoto Grand Hotel and Gardens is approximately 3 blocks on the left at Los Angeles and Second Streets.

Interstate 5: I-5 North, to 101 North, exit at Alameda, go straight to Los Angeles Street, turn left. Kyoto GrandHotel and Gardens is approximately 3 blocks on the left at Los Angeles and Second Street.
