The Steering Committee for PHI2008 has announced that Les Lenert, Director, National Center for Public Health Informatics, Centers for Disease Control will be this year's keynote speaker.

PHI2008 Call for Abstracts

We invite abstracts for posters related to the theme, "Envisioning Options for Integrated Public Health Information Systems for Low Resource Settings: Components, Connections, Partners, Strategies." Poster abstracts will be included in the conference proceedings.

INSTRUCTIONS:
All abstracts must be submitted through this Registration Site by Friday
, August 8, 2008 at 11:59PM Pacific Standard Time using the Poster Abstract Template. You can email your abstract directly to phi08@u.washington.edu.

Acceptances will be sent to the first author by Friday, August 22, 2008.

Conference Cost Statement
Fees for this self-sustaining conference are estimated to cover the costs, which include salaries, registration, a bound volume of conference materials, handouts, record keeping, planning and evaluation, continental breakfast and lunch both days of the conference, a welcome reception on Wednesday evening and a social networking event buffet dinner at the Seattle Space Needle on Thursday evening.
