2008 Iowa Tourism Conference

Thank you for your interest in the Iowa Tourism Conference. The annual Iowa Tourism Conference is a joint effort between the Iowa Tourism Office, the Travel Federation and the respective Iowa Tourism Region. The conference rotates each year between an Eastern, Central or Western location. The conference is a Monday through Wednesday format with the conference beginning with a luncheon on Monday and concluding after the Wednesday luncheon program. General sessions, break-out sessions, receptions, silent auction, exhibits, dine around, and an off-site evening entertainment are all a part of the three-day event. Iowa's tourism industry including Convention and Visitors Bureaus, attractions, museums, fesivals, events, hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts and others in the hospitality industry are encouraged to attend.

Registration Rates:  Registration for the conference is on a per person basis and covers all three registration days.  There is no one-day conference fee. 

Early registration rate (by September 1):  $200
Regular registration rate (after September 1):  $240
Student rate (pre-registration required, includes all meals):  $115

"Tourism Technology" - Dave Serino helps you learn about key travel industry technology trends and their influence on web marketing.

"Zap the Gap" - Meagan Johnson shares invaluable (and fun!) insights on solving the multi-generational puzzle.
