Clinicians, Educators and Researchers - share your EBP successes.  Nurses, physicians, pharmacists, managers, and all health professionals are invited to submit for consideration, abstracts consistent with the theme of these national, interdisciplinary conferences.

New this year, accepting abstracts online only.  Online abstract submission is now open. To submit an abstract, click the "Submit Abstract" button at the top of this page. 

Please note: submitting an abstract does not register you for the 2013 Summer Institutes on Quality Improvement.  Registration instructions will be included in the acceptance letters.

Guidelines for Submission

Limit to 65 characters

Maximum 320 words, including required subheadings, excluding the APA formatted bibliography

Selection, Acceptance, Exhibit, and Publication:
Abstracts will be competitively selected for poster presentation on the basis of scholarship, scientific rigor, and relevance to the Institute, Workshop, and Summit themes.  For those that submitted by March 4, presenters will be notified of acceptance by Friday, April 12, 2013.  For other submissions through Tuesday, April 30, notifications will be rolled out each week until Friday, May 31.  Presenters must register and submit registration fee in order to present their poster.  A corkboard is provided: 6ft. wide by 4ft. high.  Presenters are responsible for setting up and taking down posters at designated times.  Accepted poster abstracts may be published as received and with permission from the author(s) on the Institute and ISRN websites.

    Payment Deadlines are:
    Early Registration:
    Payment must be postmarked by May 20, 2013
    Regular Registration: Payment must be postmarked by June 24, 2013

    Anything postmarked after these dates will be subject to the current registration fee according to the postmarked date.

    Registration requires full payment, otherwise your registration will not be valid.

    Room reservations must be made on or before June 17, 2013.  Reservation requests after this date will be accepted on a space-available and
    rate-available basis.
