San Antonio, TX

Clinicians, Educators and Researchers - share your EBP successes.  Nurses, physicians, pharmacists, managers, and all health professionals are invited to submit for consideration, abstracts consistent with the theme of these national, interdisciplinary conferences.


Submission Instructions
Abstracts are accepted online only.  There is a $10.00 submission fee for each submission for both poster and podium submissions.  To submit an abstract, click the "Submit Abstract" button at the top of this page.  Abstract submissions are being accepted for poster and podium presentations.

Please note: submitting an abstract does not register you for the 2014 Summer Institutes on Quality Improvement.  Registration instructions will be included in your acceptance letters.

Guidelines for Submission

Limit to 65 characters

Maximum 320 words, including required subheadings, excluding the APA formatted bibliography

Selection, Acceptance, Exhibit, and Publication:
Abstracts will be competitively selected for poster presentation on the basis of scholarship, scientific rigor, and relevance to the Summit and Institute themes.  For those that submitted by May 15, 2014, presenters will be notified of acceptance by Friday, May 30, 2014.  Presenters must register and submit registration fee in order to present their poster.  A corkboard is provided: 6ft. wide by 4ft. high.  Presenters are responsible for setting up and taking down posters at designated times.  Accepted poster abstracts may be published as received and with permission from the author(s) on the ISRN and Institute websites.

Disclaimer: UT Health Science Center San Antonio reserves the right to limit enrollment or to cancel any session one week prior to the activity.  Should circumstances make this necessary, only registered attendees will be informed.

    Payment must be postmarked by May 15, 2014
    *Anything postmarked after the above date will be subject to disqualification. 
    Abstract submission requires full payment of $10.00, otherwise your abstract
    will not be accepted.

    Registration Deadlines:
    Early Registration: Payment must be postmarked by May 31, 2014
    Regular Registration: Payment must be postmarked by July 7, 2014

    Anything postmarked after these dates will be subject to the current registration fee
    according to the postmarked date.

    Registration requires full payment, otherwise your registration will not be valid.
