http://traveliowa.com/UserDocs/buildapage/Waterloo_Attraction_Flyer.pdfThe annual Iowa Tourism Conference rotates each year between an Eastern, Central or Western Iowa location. It is a joint effort between the Iowa Tourism Office, the Travel Federation of Iowa and the respective Iowa Tourism Region. General sessions, break-out sessions, receptions, awards program, silent auction, exhibits, dine around and evening entertainment are all part of the three-day event. Iowa's tourism industry encompasses convention and visitors bureaus, attractions, museums, festivals, events, hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, community representatives and others in the hospitality industry. The conference is a great educational opportunity and an ideal time for networking with tourism professionals from around the state.
The 2013 Iowa Tourism Conference will be held Wednesday October 16 through Friday, October 18 in Waterloo at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center. Additional conference information will be available at traveliowa.com under the “tourism industry information” tab.
