Description

Register ​now ​for ​the ​Alliance ​for ​Healthy ​Homes ​& ​Communities ​2nd ​Annual ​Statewide ​Convening ​aimed ​at ​bringing ​housing ​and ​health ​professionals, ​policymakers ​and ​funders, ​and ​other ​community ​leaders ​together ​to ​support ​healthier ​homes ​and ​communities ​throughout ​Minnesota. ​The ​Convening ​seeks ​to ​elevate ​the ​critical ​connections ​between ​health ​and ​the ​places ​we ​live, ​help ​break ​down ​health ​and ​housing ​silos, ​and ​continue ​to ​build ​a ​statewide ​alliance ​through ​network ​connections ​and ​cross-sector ​collaborations. ​In ​addition ​to ​an ​outstanding ​keynote ​by ​eco-entrepreneur ​and ​community ​revitalization ​strategist ​Majora ​Carter, ​ten ​workshop ​sessions ​will ​highlight ​successful ​local ​healthy ​housing ​and ​communities ​initiatives ​and ​programs. ​ ​Attendees ​will ​also ​have ​the ​opportunity ​to ​participate ​in ​regional ​sessions ​on ​building ​strong ​cross-sector ​networks ​and ​help ​establish ​the ​priorities ​of ​the ​Alliance ​for ​2014. ​ ​Please ​join ​us ​for ​this ​exciting ​day!

The mission of the Alliance for Healthy Homes and Communities is to promote, support, and provide healthy homes and communities for all Minnesotans.
