SEPTEMBER GIVE A DAY
*Boulder Flood Relief*
Saturday, September 21, 2013
8:45am OR 9:45am OR 10:45am
Due to the recent floods, we have collaborated with Boulder Flood Relief to provide them with the volunteers they need to help our community recover as quickly as possible, therefore, our September Give A Day will now be spent helping those that were directly affected by the flood waters.
When registering, please choose either the 9:00 AM wave, 10:00 AM wave, or the 11:00 AM wave. Please arrive 15 minutes early to HELLEMS 141. Breakfast will be provided, but please bring gloves, water proof shoes, and clothes that you wouldn't mind getting dirty. Also, BRING WATER and your BUS PASS. This is important because some of the sites we will be working at will not have a clean water supply. It may be a good idea to bring a snack with you as well. Wardenburg highly recommends keeping tetanus vaccines up to date if you will be involved in clean-up efforts!
We will email you with more details closer to Saturday! Thank you so much!
NOTE: Due to organizational capacity we can only take 50 volunteers for each wave! If you receive a message saying you cannot register for the time you selected this is because 50 people have already signed up. Thank you so much for your interest, and please go to Boulder Flood Relief to find out other ways you can help.
