What makes Italy unique is that on a relatively small peninsula you can experience 20 completely different “micro-countries,” each with its own distinct history, food, wine and culture. Join us as we explore what makes each region so exceptional, focusing on the gastronomy and language of each regione d’Italia.
This class will take you to the central region of Umbria. The Chef of La Scuola will demonstrate 3 traditional Umbrian dishes, incorporating Umbrian products. Dishes will be paired with regional wines. One of our devoted Italian teachers will be present to complete this 90-minute journey, offering a comprehensive picture of the region by punctuating class with basic Italian language and key words related to the geo-specific gastronomy and culture. At the end of this class you will feel like a real Umbrian (accent included)!
