Eataly strives to familiarize guests with each of Italy’s 20 regions – and their respective food and drink. While Umbria may be less known than its northern neighbor Toscana, it should by no means be overlooked. The “green heart of Italy” boasts many wonderful treasures and products, including chocolate, olive oil, lentils, truffles, and of course, great wine. This March, Eataly will feature two renowned Umbrian wines, Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso, as well as five esteemed producers of these wines.
Join La Scuola as we taste a combination of five Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso wines from different Umbrian wineries. In addition, the Chef of La Scuola will treat guests to complementary food pairings typical to the region. Class will be complete with wine tasting notes and recipes to take home.
