    You will have the opportunity to add additional group members later in the registration process. If there are fees involved with this event, the fees for all registrants in the group will be added together and charged to the first person in the group. If different members of the group are paying individually (for example with different credit cards), you must create separate registrations for each.


8-Week ​Experiential ​Program ​at ​the ​UC ​San ​Diego ​Center ​for ​Mindfulness

Would ​you ​like ​to ​have ​a ​new ​relationship ​with ​your ​food ​and ​quality ​of ​life ​for ​2014?
While ​exploring ​Mindful ​Eating ​you ​will ​become ​aware ​of ​the ​positive ​and ​nurturing ​opportunities ​that ​are ​available ​through ​food ​preparation ​and ​consumption ​by ​respecting ​your ​own ​inner ​wisdom. ​You ​begin ​to ​choose ​and ​eat ​food ​that ​is ​both ​pleasing ​and ​nourishing ​to ​your ​body ​by ​using ​all ​your ​senses ​to ​explore, ​savor ​and ​taste. ​You ​become ​aware ​of ​physical ​hunger ​and ​satiety ​cues ​to ​guide ​your ​decisions ​to ​begin ​eating ​and ​to ​stop ​eating.
Participating ​in ​our ​Mindful ​Eating ​program ​you ​will ​learn ​how ​to ​cultivate ​mindfulness ​through ​deliberately ​paying ​attention ​while ​letting ​go ​of ​self-critical ​judgment. ​As ​a ​result ​of ​your ​mindfulness ​practice ​you ​will ​clearly ​see ​your ​responses ​to ​the ​food ​you ​eat ​(likes, ​neutral, ​or ​dislikes.). ​These ​insights ​promote ​balance, ​choice, ​wisdom, ​and ​acceptance ​and ​have ​the ​ability ​to ​transform ​your ​whole ​relationship ​with ​your ​food ​and ​the ​quality ​of ​your ​life.
