Course 3109

This course teaches the core functionality of NetIQ IDM 4. Students will be able to Describe the architecture of NetIQ IDM 4 Describe the structure and schema of the ID Vault Use the NetIQ IDM 4 tools to perform administrative tasks such as traces, check driver states Manage policies Manage connected systems Perform health checks Perform basic reporting tasks Prerequisite: Students should understand networking and directory basics.


This course is for anyone administering identities in an enterprise using NetIQ Identity Manager 4. People familiar with previous versions of Novell Identity Manager should also take this course. NetIQ Identity Manager 4 contains a new architecture and many inclusions and enhancements not found in previous versions.


Before taking this course, you should have a basic understanding of directories and directory concepts.
