Description

The ​Canadian ​Mental ​Health ​Association ​2014 ​Nation-Wide ​Conference ​in ​Calgary, ​Strengthening ​Our ​Collective ​Voice ​will ​take ​place ​at ​the ​Westin ​Calgary ​on ​October ​22nd ​(Institutes) ​and ​October ​23rd ​and ​24th ​for ​the ​Conference.

The ​CMHA ​Conference ​Opening ​Ceremonies ​with ​Laureen ​MacNeil ​and ​Keynote ​in ​Calgary ​will ​begin ​on ​Wednesday, ​October ​22nd ​at ​5:30pm ​at ​the ​Westin ​Calgary. ​ ​Join ​us ​on ​Wednesday ​for ​our ​first ​Keynote: ​Robb ​Nash. ​ ​An ​event ​you ​don't ​want ​to ​miss. ​

Day ​2, ​Opening ​Ceremonies ​will ​include ​an ​Aboriginal ​Blessing, ​a ​welcome ​from ​CMHA ​Calgary ​with ​our ​M/C ​Beverley ​Mahood. ​ ​Our ​first ​keynote ​of ​the ​day ​will ​be ​Peter ​Coleridge ​from ​CMHA ​National ​followed ​by ​National ​Award ​ceremony. ​ ​Amanda ​Lindhout ​will ​be ​our ​next ​keynote. ​ ​An ​inspiring ​story ​and ​she ​has ​just ​confirmed ​that ​her ​story ​will ​be ​come ​a ​movie. ​ ​Louse ​Bradley ​will ​be ​our ​next ​keynote ​after ​lunch ​with ​20 ​workshops ​to ​choose ​from ​on ​Day ​2. ​ ​

Day ​3 ​will ​begin ​with ​a ​presentation ​from ​Sheldon ​Kennedy ​with ​12 ​workshops ​to ​choose ​from ​and ​then ​Beverley ​Mahood ​will ​share ​her ​story ​as ​our ​final ​keynote ​of ​the ​conference.
