The University of Georgia and the Shepherd Center host the Rehabilitating Farmers and Ranchers with Disabilities for Occupational and Physical Therapists. Join us for this hands-on and interactive workshop that will demonstrate ways to better serve the agricultural population.
Agribusiness contributes $57 billion into Georgia’s $350 billion economic output. Over 30,000 Georgians that live in an agricultural household have some type of disability. Occupational and Physical Therapists, along with other healthcare professionals, play an important role in preparing farmers and ranchers to return to work.
