Description

The ​Association ​of ​Maternal ​& ​Child ​Health ​Programs ​(AMCHP) ​represents ​state ​maternal ​and ​child ​health ​organizations ​that ​work ​across ​the ​life ​span ​to ​address ​a ​broad ​range ​of ​family ​health ​issues ​covering ​a ​wide ​span ​of ​populations. ​Participants ​at ​the ​conference ​include ​researchers, ​academics, ​advocacy ​organizations, ​federal ​officials, ​and ​families. ​

The ​AMCHP ​Annual ​Conference ​will ​offer ​an ​unprecedented ​gathering ​of ​leaders ​in ​maternal ​and ​child ​health, ​public ​health ​practitioners, ​and ​family ​advocates. ​The ​100+ ​sessions ​are ​typically ​led ​by ​researchers, ​federal ​officials, ​family ​and ​youth ​leaders, ​advocates, ​healthcare ​providers, ​and ​directors ​of ​state ​programs. ​The ​conference ​program ​covers ​a ​range ​of ​MCH ​topics ​and ​contributes ​to ​building ​attendee ​competency ​in ​the ​12 ​MCH ​Leadership ​Competency ​domains. ​The ​conferences ​promise ​to ​educate, ​motivate, ​and ​promote ​collaboration ​among ​the ​700+ ​attendees ​and ​more ​than ​50 ​sponsors ​and ​exhibitors. ​In ​addition ​to ​the ​learning ​and ​sharing, ​time ​is ​dedicated ​to ​special ​recognition ​and ​celebration ​of ​families ​and ​MCH ​colleagues ​for ​all ​they ​do ​every ​day ​to ​improve ​the ​health ​of ​women, ​children, ​fathers, ​and ​families.
